    It really depends, but for us, never again
    1. Hotel lobby and elevator carpets were blatantly dirty and unkept. Though we saw housekeeping wiping off bathroom door handles and table tops. 2. Room trash was not emptied. Broken glass in bin. Safe battery was low and couldn’t lock away our passports or valuables. Couldn’t get front desk on the phone to replace batteries or take away previous renters trash. 3. Lights bulbs are so dim we had to use our iPhone flashlight to see inside the kitchenette cupboards. When we did, we quickly closed them. 4. Front desk does NOT answer when you dial zero or call from the hotel phone. You have to call them using their external number. The reasoning? “Too short staffed and I can’t do it all.” 5. Walls between rooms are paper thin. Neighbors woke us up at 1:30am partying. After “finally” getting in touch with the front desk, he came and asked them to be quiet. (That was a plus.) Overall, it was a poor stay if you’re with family. If you’re partying and just plan to use your room as a crash pad, then perhaps it’ll suit your needs. But regardless, definitely not worth $250+ per night and not a 4-star hotel. Pluses: location. That’s all your paying for.

    Nothing like the pictures. None of their amenities were open. They didn't have hot water, which made showering impossible. Customer service was poor, called several times for variety of things and never received them.

    Worst Place I've ever stayed as Gold VIP
    OK, everyone here is my review of this Hotel. I want everyone to remember I have been a Gold VIP with Hotels since 2005 and booked and stayed at 1000 of Hotels because of my work and travel. First, I would like a full refund from this Hotel. It’s the worst run down place I have ever seen. On a scale of 1-10 the Riviera would be negative rating for sure. The first night we got a room in the second tower, first floor and the ceiling was cement, the room not painted it looked like a prison cell, you could hear everyone talking right outside your room as of they were standing right along the side of you, the bathroom window was right were people were walking so you could literally wave to people as you were showering it was plain glass not ever obscured, zero sleep that night I might say, called Hotels Gold team, the management decided to move is to main building, here is the issue with the second room there was a hole in the floor in the bathroom and my wife thought she was going to fall through the floor, So in over a thousand places I have stayed at with Hotels.com this is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at. Any Motel 6 would be a luxury resort compared to this place. Stay away from this Riviera Hotel, management is terrible, if you call the front desk no one answers the phone, you will need to leave your room go stand in line to get a question answered. Hotels.com gave this place a 4 star don’t be fooled they were probably paid people. Negative Rating for sure.
