do yourself a favor and do not stay here
I am not sure how this hotel got 4 stars. It is quite old, the bathroom is so old including fixtures; the towels are in TERRIBLE condition. Our room was on the street and while it is busy and easy to find places to eat and grab cabs etc, to fall asleep at night was horrible with the noise and they claimed they were fully booked and could not switch our rooms. The bartender(s) were nice and friendly but not knowledgable in alcohol. The breakfast was decent and the service was good. Do yourself a huge favor and do not stay here, for the price you could stay at a much better place.

Great location...
... for getting on the tube. It's within easy walking distance of at least three tube stations. I had a single-room with a garden view. It was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The hotel was a perfect home-base for my solo stay in London. Also, great breakfast.
