For the price I had much higher expectations. Great location but the hotel is a bit tired. Biggest disappointment was room service wanted to charge us 45 kunas just to borrow a knife. That’s a first in 30 years travel around the world.

This is a beautiful hotel. With the exception of the reception staff being unhelpful and I quote "we don't do 5 star," we enjoyed our stay the remaining staff were all very helpful and pleasant the facilities we're good, food was delicious. We took a superior deluxe room on the Cavtat beach side overlooking the beautiful Adriatic. Once the room was re-made up for 3 people but 2!!!!! We settled in nicely. Covid measures are very good, I felt safer there than in Asda. We will revisit and hopefully receive the 5* wow factor we'd hoped for.

Exceeded Expectations
Wonderful location overlooking the Mediterranean ... woke up to a peaceful swim in the sea. The buffet breakfast was exceptional too, with a idyllic view of Cavtat, the town across from the hotel.
