About The Joule - Dallas

Chic design hotel with seasonal pool near Sixth Floor Museum

Next to Neiman Marcus

Housed in a renovated landmark building from the 1920s, the design-driven Joule is in the middle of downtown Dallas next to the original Neiman Marcus luxury store. A bus stop is next to the hotel, and the Dallas Convention Center is a 10-minute walk south of the lobby doors.

Dealey Plaza and aquarium

A sad day in American history, JFK's assassination is commemorated at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, located a 12-minute stroll west. On a brighter note, you can see the creatures of the deep frolic at Dallas World Aquarium, located a 10-minute walk northwest.

Coffee to champagne

Amenities include everything from a coffee shop, cocktail bar, and champagne and tea service to a TASCHEN book library, free car service and art collection. There's a 24-hour fitness room and spa, and the seasonal pool juts out beyond the building like an infinity pool.

Quality linens, art books

The 160 lavish guestrooms have turndown service, with down comforters and 300-thread-count Frette linens. You can read one of the in-room TASCHEN art books, use the free WiFi, listen to your music on the iPod® dock, and watch a program on the 42-inch flat-screen TV and Apple TV.

Excellent Service
The Hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was furnished with a dog bed and bowl for our four-legged companion who traveled with us. The thermostat in the room did not function properly and the pillows were slightly uncomfortable, which I had read in a review before booking. I would visit The Joule again.

Quick and lovely
It was lovely but brief. There was really aggressive construction 🚧 in front that was kind of annoying, but 4510 and the giant eyeball were cool.

Terrific Hotel, Great Service, Some Comfort Issues
The hotel itself was amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. Someone from the desk went and got a can of coke for my son and delivered it for us when I couldn't find one elsewhere. Hotel and room were beautiful, clean, well-appointed. The Joule suite had an extra toilet room and lots of extras including a handwritten welcome note. Room service was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again. That said, we found the pillows uncomfortable (they may have been quill feather pillows but were very hard and compact) and the pull-out couch mattress was the most uncomfortable I've ever seen. The springs basically went to the top of the mattress which was painful to even sit on. We made it work with 3 layers of blankets and sheets on top. I would not recommend using the pullout couch as a sleeping surface for anyone other than a very young child! Area was "ok" - lots of construction and homelessness so walking at night did not feel safe. That's probably true of most of the downtown hotels, though. So glowing reviews for the hotel, with a warning about the couch mattress and possibly the pillows.
