not impressed
This was a spacious apartment in a residential neighborhood. The property owner tries to foster a sense of community by hosting parties several times a month for tenants and aparthotel guests. There was a pair of earplug on the nightstand. Initially I thought it was a nice gesture from the hotel, only to find out the next morning that the tenant one floor up started showering at 5:30, and it lasted some 40 minutes (maybe there were multiple people taking showers one after another). There was not much insulation, the sound from the shower upstairs was as loud as a lousy motel. The shower tub in my bathroom was poorly designed. The lamp on the nightstand had no switches, and the only switch on the wall visible in the bedroom apparently did not control it. The hotel also asks me to let them know before I write a "not-so-great" review. Should I?

Disappointing stay
The apartment was not very clean. Multiple hairs in the bathtub on the floors and even the shower walls. Old food remnants in the kitchen sink. Floors had not been vacuumed and countertops also had not been cleaned. So I spent time vacuuming and cleaning on arrival. There were numerous warnings about not making any loud noise in the apartment….then I was woken up by the loudest tv imaginable at 7am on Sunday which continued all morning. Definitely would not return.

Good stay, but a couple issues
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. When I arrived to my room the air conditioning was on. It was 56 degrees in my room. I like cool, but it was only 60 outside, so i had to crank the heat. Overall, the space was perfect for 1 person. It was clean, besides the clump of hair in the shower drain. Gross. Bed was comfy but the pillows felt like those tissue stuffed head rests you get on a plane. Not comfy at all. Parking was not an issue, nor was noice. Other than the things I listed, it was a good stay for a good price.
