Good location with free parking. Within walking distance to most attractions. Check in was fast.
The Liner Hotel is just a 150m walk to and fro the Liverpool Lime Street station.
Very warm and cosy room , with a lovely complementary breakfast in the restaurant. Staff are really nice too!
Have stayed in the Liner several times and usually very good value and comfortable. This time unfortunately we were given a room next to the heating system/boiler. At 4.30am it started. The radiator in the room banged and clanged and the boiler roared very loudly until 6.30 when the noise level dropped but could still be heard in the room. We of course could not sleep from 4.00. It is room 615 so please do not accept this room. The hotel was very quiet so why we were given a room on top floor and in far corner of hotel. We complained on leaving. The receptionist apologised and suggested we submit a formal complaint but offered nothing else.
Perfect location staff extra friendly
Great stay at the liner hotel. Brilliant location with a short stroll to the docks and shopping/entertainment areas. We had a brilliant couple of days and the Liner hotel was a great base for our stay, with fantastic staff and a lovely breakfast. The parking was extremely convenient and the hotel was excellent value for money!
What a find. This hotel is great value for rooms and food. Right in the centre of town. Busses and train next door I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Liverpool. And this is the one I’ll be going back to time and time again Please keep up the good work team you have a great motel
I have been to the liner before always clean and well presented in reception area
Very convenient and very comfortable.
Very close to the railway station so great for commuters. A bit outdated. Very helpful reception staff. Positives you can open the window. Slightly noisy Seagulls on the window sitting screaming at 7am Alarm went off in a near building at early hours Doors on the rooms in the same corridors slamming hard causing a so much noise Early hours late night etc..... room wasn’t particularly hot too despite radiator on full blast. Main problem breakfast: where to start..... 3 people working as breakfast crew only one ok. Very disorganised and slow. Multitasking forget it. In to the bar and out with one box of juice and then back again for another one and then cleaning ..... anyway without going to go through too much details waiting 20min for a drink and 20 min for a breakfast in the morning it’s far too long if you are on the business trip and you need to go to work. When you say to people you need to leave in 30 min and you don’t mind whatever breakfast they bring you still not making difference. So I left few times just with the glass of orange juice despite ordered full breakfast.....
