The hotel looked clean but the smell of the different foods being cooked made the smell unbearable. I have stayed in other suites where guests cooked but the smell didn’t just sit there.

The hotel was fine but it took forever to check in and out.
The first room we was given was full of gnats all over the beds and throughout the room. I went to the clerk and she did apologize and gave us another room. She asked can she come up and see saying not that she don’t believe me but when I got to the room and tried to show her she didn’t even look she just said I believe you I just need to get an exterminator up here but I was thinking what was the purpose of her following me to the old room. But she did immediately change our room. We normally stay at this hotel when I visit Charleston but unfortunately me and my family won’t be going back. We stayed the whole weekend and a pile of sheets and trash was outside in the hall the whole time in the same spot left unattended. WiFi didn’t work. I really liked this hotel because of the location
I liked that the bathroom was fully stocked and the room had a fresh clean smell. Didn’t like that I had to have a handicap room
I gave us a smoking room the room did they replace this with head toothpaste in one of the glasses the shower knob was opposite I asked for a double bed they gave me a single bed the refreshment drinks was all outdated at least they didn’t charge me just not satisfied
I enjoyed my stay ...i had no issues with the staff nor the room itself
None of the lights or electrical worked in the first room. After changing rooms the tv in the second room didn’t work. Maintenance was notified and never did anything
The place was filthy. There was trash littering the hallway. Outside my room was a huge pile of dirty sheets just left outside my door. That same pile of dirty sheets had a large roach crawling through them. The toilet wasn't cleaned before our stay (stains in the bowl) and the sink had toothpaste in the bottom of it. Also, I booked a room with two double beds. The day of my stay before i arrived i received a call from the hotel asking if I would like to upgrade to a suite (queen bed and sofa bed) I knew they'd over sold the room I booked so I agreed. When I got to the hotel they told me they didn't have the suite either and put me in a room with a single queen bed forcing me to either find a new hotel, pay EXTRA for a 2nd room or sleep with my traveling companion (which I was not truly comfortable doing). The manger was rude and just kept saying that she had no record of them calling me (which was clear that they did from the caller ID on my phone). I will never stay there again.
