Breakfast was a waste of money
The breakfast was a night mare. The few staff there were were working as hard as they could, but couldn’t keep up with the basic such as keeping the cutlery and napkins supplied, so people were waiting for knives and forks.
The ‘fresh’ scrambled eggs that were just put out, were cooked into inedible tasteless, dry crumbs. And apart from the baked beans if you are a non-meat eater there was very lttle else. The croissants were gelatinous and disgusting and the toasters didn’t toast! We ear cereal but had to put the milk in mugs as the crowded buffet are didn’t let you decant the cereal and put in milk at the bar, and there were no small jugs. The coffee machine dispensed so little coffee that it was necessary to throw away half the water in the cup before the coffee was added. The staff were working very hard, but there were so few it wasn’t enough. The cooked breakfast was a total waste of money.
