Nice resort poor staff
The resort is extremely beautiful, unfortunately the staff doesn't quite give guests the 5 star treatment. They lost my reservation, they forgot to provide any of my VIP status benefits, nor did they compensate me in any way for the stress they unduly placed on me through their mistake. The staff was smiling all the time and tried to pretend to be friendly, but they did not seem very efficient at meeting my needs. The room they placed our family in was too small, they did not provide the right number of cups and other things for the number of guests checked in and the shower outflow was sluggish. The management invested a lot in the facilities but not enough in the training and selection of the staff.

Nicely presented resort let down by the food
This is a huge resort and we couldn't really fault the grounds, spa and our rooms. We stayed in adjoining rooms and thanks to Ahmad on reception we were able to check in early at 7am having arrived on a rescheduled flight. For this we will always be thankful. What did let the resort down is their food quality and restaurant service. This is supposed to be 5 star but the food is, in my opinion mediocre, and the service hit and miss. We went to The Grill which they bill as"fine dining" but it really isn't. Food was nice enough but nothing special and the service was not fine dining quality. Also be aware that during happy hour they will not allow you to order from the main drinks menu even if you might want to pay for a martini or cocktail you can't have it until 7pm comes around and happy hour ends. Not sure if this was the norm or just one member of staff.

Amazing hotel but avoid the restaurants
This property is stunning. Walking around the “villages”, you feel like you are transported back in time. Infinity pools and private Dead Sea access are definitely the draws of this place. However, all the staff members are what made this place so memorable to us. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. My only negative feedback were the expensive and low quality dinner options. I’d recommend The Grill over some of the other option. Avoid the Italian place! The pizza tasted like cardboard. Also, the lounge chairs by the pools could use some updating. For a 5-star hotel, this seem sup-par

Love the hotel and its decoration and how spread out the buildings and cottages are separated by beautiful landscaping. The service is great and friendly. The Spa facilities are amazing and the Dead Sea beach wonderful. I think the rooms are getting old and need some tender loving care.

Average for a five star resort. Many facilities closed: beauty saloon, kids club, family infinite pool (2/4 days), Japanese restaurant. A lot of mosquitos everywhere and they didn’t seem to have a way to manage, maybe putting some fans in the beach would help.
