The location on the cliffs of the Adriatic is lovely. You can go down and swim (though it was storming when we were there so could not.) The outdoor pool was great for me to lap swim (just short of 25M). The indoor spa was excellent. Really enjoyed the sauna. Breakfast and dinner was included in our rate. They did a great job with the buffet with large selection. The wait staff was attentive and COVID precautions were in place. The bus stop to Old Town started and ended at this hotel. It takes about 10 minutes by bus and was 12 or 15 Kuna 1 way. Highly recommend this resort. It was an OASIS to rest away from the hustle and bustle. My only complaint was that some guests did not wear their masks when getting food and walking around the dining room and it was clearly required. Most guests followed the rules and the hotel staff always did a good job with COVID restrictions.
The view of the Adriatic is unbelievable! Our room was on the 5th floor with not one thing blocking it! Amazing to wake up to and every time we walked in it was breath-taking! The balcony was big enough to lay out if you wanted to! Breakfast was delicious and had great hours! The staff was wearing gloves and masks the entire time, which added to all of our personal safety! There were ample places to lay out on different levels as well as right by the water! The top floor had an inside pool that was open during this season. There was a whirlpool inside and outside with an outside area to lounge! The bus to go to Old Town left from the front door literally and was only a 15 minute ride! The staff was professional and friendly! Also, this trip was for my husband's birthday! The hotel surprised him with a lovely note and birthday cake, which was so very kind! Overall, we would come back here without question!
Very friendly staff, and great breakfast and dinner (variety and quality). The rooms and amenities are very clean and the staff is always careful about wearing a mask. The balcony view is breathtaking.
Lovely hotel with excellent facilities and attentive staff. Dealing well with Covid requirements.
Rooms Lovely hotel with amazing views. Hotel room lovely and clean, beds are really comfortable. Only things we would recommend that we’re missing are free bottled water and an iron in the room - we would expect these in a 5* hotel. Food Read a lot of reviews about the food being expensive, we thought it was reasonable enough for 5* - c£40-50 for lunch and couple of drinks for 2 people. The pool bar was also quite reasonable with gin specials for c£6. Again, buying bottled water constantly was a little frustrating as there was no refill stations or complimentary in room and cost c£4 each time. Breakfast was well organised especially given the current Covid situation - buffet still provided but there are screens up and servers at each station. Tables are cleared and disinfected between use, and set when you are seated so no contamination. Attention to clearing plates / empty drinks etc at breakfast and lunch was brilliant. Plenty of wait staff. Overall we thought food and drink was great. Pool Pool area is a little crowded but there are plenty of other loungers on terrace areas and by the sea. Again, beds are cleared, disinfected and new towels placed out between uses. Staff attention to keeping it tidy was great. Location Short taxi or bus trip into Dubrovnik old town. Walking distance or very short taxi to Lapad for restaurants / bars. We used uber a lot in Dubrovnik and it was really reasonable.
Overall good stay, however I would not classify this as a five star hotel. The lobby and pool areas were very modern and well kept, but the rooms/hallways appeared to be quite dated. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Jure and Nada. We were a bit disappointed with our room as it smelled like smoke and did not seem to be cleaned properly (dust on the table tops and hair in the bath tub). The view from the balcony is what made this hotel worth staying at.
Exceptional service, best I’ve encountered yet. Everyone was attentive and quick to their feet. Breakfast was incredible and room service was on point. Beach area/sea access was amazing, you can swim comfortably, snorkel, etc. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back!
Had a wonderful time here, hotel was beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful and location was great. Sunsets here were beautiful!
Excellent service, the staff is super friendly and the facilities are super new and clean
