Great Location& Lots of Dining Options
We stayed for one night and had a pleasant stay. It was our first time booking a room under the Ibis branch, and we recommend it for the budget traveler. The room was clean and comfortable and there was a kettle available as well! My husband felt the bathroom was on the smaller side and joked that it was a little space-ship like but it was not so much of an issue for me! Staff were friendly and held our luggage for us. The location is superb! The city centre tram stops right in front and there is both a Sainsbury's and a Tescos a minute walk away. The area has lots of dining options and lots of young people - so expect a lively/rowdy group of night goers if you're out. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had no noise complaints whatsoever. Overall, recommend it for a budget stay! :)

Fair 4.0
Quality of room in line with price paid but still expect a level of cleanliness - pubic hairs in the shower and bogies on the walls are certainly not expected. Would not recommend for visitors with small children. Their air conditioning system is based on the outdoor temperature and cannot be amended by guests in their room. The managers solution to this was to crack a window open and get on with it which, although fair, caused further disruption due to building work and passers by on the street. In addition to this there were other hidden charges we didnt know about, such as the car park, so I probably would have been better off staying at the Mercure round the corner. Certainly wouldn't stay there again but as already mentioned, the price is about right considering the quality of product you receive.

for the weekend it is definitely too loud. people run over the aisles at 4 o clock in the morning shouting, banging on the walls making drunk noises, terrible. Staff very friendly but not around in the corridors at that time of course.

Poor 2.0
Rooms are filthy
The rooms are filthy. The only thing I wanted was to have a clean room. Thats the bare minimum. The room I got had sheets that were not changed, there was long hairs under the pillows and all over the bed. Same with my shower too. I was really upset and asked for a new room. I got to my new room and it was a little bit cleaner, but still found hairs all over. There was brown gunk all over the sink. The bathroom reeked of pee. I didn’t want to make another complaint so I just had to clean the bathroom so I could at least shower. Had a similar problem at my last Ibis too. Also, not a great location. The city centre is very compact so everything's walkable no matter what part. Super noisy all day and night. Starting at 9pm you hear people screaming and getting into fights, all day you hear loud bells every 5 minutes. Sadly will never be staying at this chain of hotels again.

Nice room with view but staff are unorganised
Arrived at hotel around 10.50pm. There was 2 members of staff at front desk and only 1 other customer checking in. The other customer was basically playing 21 questions. Was standing for around 15 minutes waiting. Other member was more interested in serving the bar was is attached to the front desk. I eventually got checked in inwas at the hotel 25 minutes before actually getting to my room. Positive the location is brilliant, nice comfortable room with city views.

Just so
Everything as i expected it to be, a good location for where i needed to be, easy to walk into the city centre, plenty of good eating places close by.

Decent but some areas let them down
Hotel was in a good location and the room was decent sized and comfy. What brought our experience down was the very aggressive and rude security guard who had a go at us for trying to find a toilet. Whilst the room was clean the hallways had a weird smell
