From the minute we stepped in the door, we felt totally welcome at Marshall House. The front desk was friendly and efficient and the valet helped us to our room. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the library with several other parties and asked for recommendations for dinner. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast too. It was such a great stay that we booked another night. (Please be aware that there is a $25 dollar mandatory fee that includes free wine in the evening and breakfast. Parking is not free either)

We had wanted to stay at the Marshall House for a number of years and finally got the chance to this past weekend. Even with issues to reduce the pandemic risk, the service was wonderful and we enjoyed everything about our stay from the wine receiption the evening we arrived to talking to the resident historian about the property. Everything was great. The only critique I'll share and it was just where our room was (front of building on 4th floor) - the lights on the front of the building made it a little difficult to get the room as dark as we would have liked but that was a small issue. Overall we highly recommend the Marshall House for your time in Savannah.

We loved our stay at the Marshall House! The room was charming, comfortable, and clean! The bed was so cozy but supportive! The staff’s friendliness cannot be beat. I loved the lady who served our breakfast- My Sweet! And the location ca’t be beat for nit only riverfront access but also for walking the lovely parks to Forsyth.

The employees were ALL very friendly and went above and beyond to help! Gave us great restaurant advice and were always friendly and available. The stay was excellent but the bed was not very comfortable. I will definitely go back again!

Excellent! The staff was incredibly, the distinct history of the building with upscale feel. Great combination. And the location allows walking distance to anything of interest.

Hotel and staff were nice, good location in the middle of the city. This is a historic hotel so the rooms are small but well maintained. Daily “free” breakfast was good however you’re charged a $25.00 a day amenity fee which pretty much covers this. Also, there is no free guest parking. Your can either park in a public garage nearby or pay a $32.00 a day valet charge. Other charges added to your bill are a $6.00 daily city & state transportation fee and a 13% occupancy & sales tax. There were a lot of historical points of interest to see on the trolley tours but there are also a lot of panhandlers on the streets and in the parks.
