Hotel Dubrovnik

When I arrived nothing in the room was cleaned. Bathroom was filthy, empty bottles of water on the desk, sheets not cleaned ( bed was just made). Have never experienced this before in all the traveling I have done. Breakfast area was also very disappointing, not cleaned, sticky lids, just very dirty. As a 3 star hotel I consider at least cleanliness to be the very least requirement.

Great small hotel with friendly employees. It’s in a great area just steps away from a public beach with lots of shops and restaurants around. My only complaint would be that the WiFi would not stay connected in my room but it worked fine in the lobby/restaurant area.

Bathroom had a really musty smell and I turned the shower to the hottest setting and it was still pretty cold. With that being said the rest of the facilities were nice. I really liked the family room we were staying in. Two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. They also had a small kitchenette and a nice chair to sit in. The hotel isn’t very close to the old city but it’s very close to the water and it’s nice for a waterfront walk.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was varied and very good.

Breakfast was very nice. Staff was friendly except for the morning chef. Mari Ella was excellent. The location on the promenade was nice. Close to the water and public transportation. The rooms could be cleaner. The drawers under the bed were dirty. The corners in the bathrooms were not clean. Three nights we had no hot water. Air conditioning did not work. The fan blew air but it was not cold. If they would fix the hot water, air conditioning and do some deep cleaning I would give it a 4/5. But for us on this visit it was 3/5.

If you don't mind not staying in the heart of old Dubrovnik, this location is hard to beat. 5 min to the pocket beach, quiet pedestrian zone, 5 min to bus stop to take you into the old town.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are very comfortable, the air conditioning is great! And the water pressure is great! the staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed, and even though it says 2pm check-in, we got to check-in at 11am. It's located in an area called Lapid, on a promenade street leading down to Sunset Beach (very close to beach) and surrounded by shops/restaurants. The #6 bus takes 5 minutes into Old Town. We were extremely pleased with the location, and the quality of hotel for the price. The beds were very comfortable, and it was very quiet. Overall, a great value! I would definitely stay here again. It has a nice restaurant on premise and breakfast is included in the rate. The hotel clerk was extremely helpful and he had a great sense of humor. You can also walk to the Cave Bar from here along a beautiful coastline scenic route. We really liked this place.
