excellent stay
Definitely recommend this hotel especially the deluxe suite. Very well equipped, first class service and super close to Newcastle city centre. Only downside is the parking, there are limited spaces and they are on a first come first served basis. Great friendly staff too. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Lovely staff but needs new mattresses
Service was great and the hotel is very clean but the bed was very uncomfortable lumpy and it was two singles mattresses which had a seem that ran down the middle of the bed both me and my partner had a terrible nights sleep and woke up with sore backs.

Rather pleasant hotel on Osborne Road where there are many places to stay. Reception very good and room grand. Only blot on the landscape was that the hot water in the bathroom was scalding. Some may see this as a positivrbut if you have children with you then I deem it dangerous. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant attached which is extremely handy. Overall a decent hotel with decent amenities in a decent area.

Very good 8.0
Friendly staff!
I stayed at this hotel because I had a dog with me. The staff was overall great and very friendly. However, even though dogs are allowed, the hotel is not actually very dog friendly. There were no easy way to feed the dog or wash the bowls, there was no dog bed, the rooms were a long way from the exit, the car park is really awkward and very few spaces are available, making travelling with a dog and all the stuff that comes with it quite difficult. In particular, there is a lack of green space around the hotel with not a single accessible lawn (the closest park is a 10 min walk), making it very difficult to stay there with a dog who won't "do their thing" on concrete. The rest is okay, but there are lots of little things that made my stay not comfortable and that I find important: - The water in the shower was only lukewarm and the water pressure was very very low. - Breakfast was really not very nice, particularly when looking at the price. The amount of things available, including hot food, were good, but it just all didn't taste good at all. - The mattress felt old and springy and I did not sleep well on it. - The busy road and busy pub make it noisy when the window is open. Overall, this was an okay stay (and really, the staff was amazing, so I feel bad criticising the hotel!), but I think some investment in infrastructure would be really good.
