The staff was very friendly and helpful. The windows needed cleaning, the hallways and stairwell needed vacuuming, and the parking lot is incredibly cramped. The biggest reason I only gave them 4 stars (generous rating, BTW) is the fact I was trapped in the elevator for 5 of the most terrifying minutes of my life. It is an old, tiny, wooden elevator, with nowhere or no way to escape, and it STOPPED and FROZE UP on me for what felt like an eternity but was probably only 5 minutes. I was absolutely horrified and very shaken afterward. You don't know how claustrophobic you are until you have experienced being trapped in a tiny box, with no way of escaping. From that point on, it was the stairs only for me the rest of the stay. You couldn't pay me to use that elevator again. I would honestly suggest to any and all to definitely NOT use that elevator, no matter what. You do NOT want to go through what I went through.

Staff were very nice, efficient. The property was out dated, but it served the purpose of a two night stay. Parking was available, but crowded. Property is close to Ocean Casino and Hard Rock Cafe. We had a 2nd floor room with a balcony and a decent view. Seagulls are everywhere. Overall, we did enjoy our time at this property. It was quiet at night. Would recommend a new queen mattress, Room 203, as the mattress saged up towards the headboard. We actually had to sleep at the foot end of the bed to be comfortable. Bathroom sink drain needs cleaned, took forever to drain.
