time for an update
Hi, I needed a good night sleep after a very long day. I don’t like negative reviews and this isn’t one. The hotel needs a clean update. Probably they have enough customers in this small place so the don’t see the need. They are promoting this as a 4 star hotel. Probably better to promote it as a 2.5 star with good service. Nothing wrong with that. It is the mineral pool that bumps these scores up maybe? First room was at the casino side and outdated. There was a desk chair next to my door and it looked liked the room wasn’t used for a long time. Hee, but let’s check the service! So i asked the lady behind the service desk to change a room and she helped me out right away. No Karen attitude was needed (-: Next day I called to the frontdesk for a late check out as I was between deciding to stay another day or move to Regina. The guy on the phone was grumpy and said: we can do noon instead of 11.. My check out time was already noon.. but I didn’t want to be unpleasant so I told him it’s fine! I think he felt bad after a while and called me: we have a cancellation sir, please use the room longer. Hotel was not even close to full. But I love how he try to make it up. By check out I had the same grumpy guy and after a short chat I was happy to give my business to this hotel. Workers, please hold up your doing great. Management: please update your hotel a bit, it’s 2020 (-:

Unfortunately I was disappointed in seeing that things have dilapidated since we were last here. Our king bed was super flat and hard, there were cracks in the jacuzzi tub floor and tiles missing in the floor. Everything was closed including the fitness centre (which I was told was due to covid - however we’ve been to 3 other hotels in previous nights and they all had theirs open). Next time I would stay somewhere else and simply come to enjoy the hot springs and pool

I felt the security of the building was lacking. The door from the parkade was not locked and there were clearly people who were not staying at the hotel in the halls using the free phones they have on the walls. It’s 2020, you don’t need phones in the hallway. Also extremely hard to check in with the construction. If you have people entering thru the parkade you should have a staff member posted there or at least have luggage trolleys. Luckily the door into the hotel from the parkade was the smoking spot for staff so I was able to ask them for direction.

A Relaxing Time At The Spa in the Jaw.
Our stay was relaxing. The mineral pool was just what we needed after many days on the road. The people were all very friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable.

not bad
The pet friendly room was nice and cool during a heat spell we were going through. The only issue was the beds weren’t that comfortable as they felt like they were slanting towards one side. Other than that the stay was decent.

Dirty and not what i would have expect it to be..
The duvet cover was filthy.we stayed in room 325 (king suite with jacuzzzi) and i expected alot more honesty and more of a romantic day for us honestly i feel like my anniversay was slighty ruined by the dirty cover and no candles. Pretty sure that its a wedding suite or something and they barely had anything soaps or accomodies. I expected alot more hotel service and where was the concierge. I had to carry all 4 of my bags up myself not even a luggage cart

The hotel is not at all that great as it is represented. The outrageous money that they charge for offering the mediocre service or the room that they do, is just outstanding. We booked one of the most expensive rooms and it was nothing, but disappointing.

Barking Dog!
The hotel access to the spa is excellent however the room was small, bathroom was very small: 2 people could barely fit! The worst part was the “Barking Dog” from the room across from us @ 10:50 pm!!! I wish the front desk would ask if I was OK with “pet friendly” rooms!

Paid $200/night for something that you pay sub $100 elsewhere. Very outdated, front desk staff not at all trying to create a friendly helpful environment. Almost felt like we were a bother. I would never stay there again. Rooms were outdated badly and in need of so many repairs. Elevators barely slow it took the cleaning guy 15 to wait to get downstairs as there was only one on the floor to use. Even the Cleaning staff joked about it. The pool was nice to be in and at least that part made it not a complete disappointment. But for the money spent it’s a huge, huge rip off.
