Great location for transport but cigarette smell
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I booked a non-smoking room but my room smelled strongly of cigarette. I asked to change room but the staff said it was full and too many people had asked to change their room. So I had to put up with it and buy scented candle. Every day I came back to my room, the cigarette smell was back. I wonder if it circulates through the ventilation from other rooms. Also, the bathroom has a shower with a high step to climb inside which was difficult for me. The room is very dark at night, no lamp on the desk so impossible to work, had to sit in the bed to see something. Lastly, they say that if you leave a card on the door asking not to change the towels you can have a free bottle of water; I did that every day and never got the voucher, I had to complain every night to get the bottle and the staff gave it to me.
On the positive side, it's great for transports: bus stop is at the door-step from hotel, U-bahn across the street, also a big supermarket open late 2 min away and burger/kebab with coffee inside the hotel. And some staff were nice. The elevator is fast and the room at the end of corridor very quiet despite being next to the U-bahn trains, I never heard anyone talking. Just the cigarette smell bothered me.
