5 stars! Recommend for anyone visiting Phuket town
I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot for one night with my boyfriend. We instantly regretted not staying longer because we loved it so much but we already booked another hotel by the beach which we could not refund. I am definately staying there again the next time I go to Phuket town. Room: 10/10 - As soon as you walk into the lobby, you are greeted with the sweet scent of freshness, it reminded me of walking to the Wynn hotel in Vegas. The room was clean, modern, spacious and had a large washroom with a lot of counterspace. The bed, pillows and blankets were like sleeping on a cloud and the room had legit blackout curtains, enhancing the sleep experience. Food: Breakfast buffet was 10/10, a lot of variety, beautiful presentation, food was fresh and delicious. One of the top breakfast buffets we had in Thailand, and we had a lot! Service: 10/10 - Seamless and quick check in process with friendly staff greeting you as you enter in and out of the hotel. Location: 10/10 - Walking distance to Thalang road

There was a nasty black mould smell at the Courtyard Marriott in Phuket Town. It’s especially bad between the elevators, gym and pool area. The breakfast was vast but the staff are poorly trained. Basic things like undercooked eggs benny, doughy pancakes, horrible butter/lard and no syrup. The OJ tasted like Tang 🙁! The coffee was good! Pool was pleasant but the lounge beds are awkward to get in and out of. We expected much more from Marriott especially considering the high nightly rate.
