Great location, close to everything. It was the best price for a sea view, most hotels in…
Absolutely wonderful location. Room a little tired and not very big, but definitely ok…

Great location! Great breakfast! Great view from the balcony.
The hotel has a nice view of the bay. If you want to go to old town be prepared for a walk or take the bus. The breakfast was nice. There is also a buffet dinner which was good when we did not feel like going out. There is a tour office located in the lobby for setting up excursions. We used them for setting up a tour of to Mostar. The staff was okay. We had a little trouble with getting laundry service and had to contact front desk to get toilet paper for the room.
Comfotable, but in 5 days the sheets were not chnaged, and bathroom shelf noyt cleaned. Not big things.
The location of the hotel was beautiful. A bus stop immediately outside makes it easy to travel in and out of town. The hotel is dated but clean. A lift would be a major improvement - carting luggage up and down steps isn't fun.
The hotel is very old but on good location. Old could be good but not in this case. Furniture are very old, blankets are 50 years old. Lamps was broken. On the other side quality of food is good while selections could be better. Hotel doesn't have elevator. Overall, hotel doesn't worth for that price.
Hotel Vis is in an excellent area, the food is good and the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean but outdated and some are not as advertised as we found travelling with family. We had paid for the “sea view” upgrade through Expedia, while we could see the water from our room, it was an obstructed view at the far end of the property in a tiny old room with no fridge over top of a busy patio. My aunt and uncle paid for the same upgrade and had a fantastic room with all the amenities we had been expecting in our room and a true sea view. I wouldn’t have paid for the upgrade if I had seen the actual room they were selling us. I’m not sure who’s more at fault for that one, hotel Vis or Expedia.ca, either way my advice is that you contact the hotel and view the actual room you’re getting before you waste your money on a sub-par expensive upgrade.
