Yellow stained sheets.
The hotel may as well be a hostel because that is what it felt like. Pulled back the quilt ready for a sleep and the sheets were covered in old yellow stains. Not happy at all.

Location: perfect if you like glass and steel jungle. Close to main CBD attractions. Condition: is OK. My room had some smell which becomes obvious and somewhat annoying unless you regularly open windows and/ or balcony. Probably furniture needs deep cleaning, maybe the small carpet near the balcony too. The building is located under a bdridge/ highway so it gets quite noisy, I used earplugs to sleep. The balcony is a must for me, this was one of the reasons to chose this property. It would have been better if it had some simple furniture on a balcony though. At the same time the living room table with open balcony doors did it work even when inside the room (too big to take out). The living room table was convenient to work. Enough light (which IS a problem in many hotels). If you book in advance you normally get a good price too, so despite the cons i give this place 4 out or 5.

Poor 2.0
Wasn’t expecting luxury but looked nothing like the photos. We stayed 1night out of 4 booked. The bedhead was broken off the wall, legs up the middle of the bed were broken so mattress was uncomfortable. The remotes didn’t work. The locks on the sliding door were damaged and loose. The door to the room wouldn’t open properly tried with both cards and still wasn’t what it should be. It took a good 5mins to get in. The outside balcony hadn’t been cleaned and had slime on outside of the outside aircon unit. All the walls were patchy and dirty. The bathroom fan was so noisy and stepping into and out of the shower was a feat in itself. Definitely a safety issue as the floor gets very wet without even trying. The bath mat gets sodden and good luck trying to get that dry between showers. Extra towels are available at an additional cost of $35. The bath outlet was loose in the wall and the vanity top is tiny. The ceiling access panel in the bathroom is rusty. Both bedsides had the doors removed and the drawer on one of them had the pull handle missing. The safe was unusable as it had been left in lock mode. The coffee table and sofa were well beyond their best days. The emergency evacuation instructions were missing from the back of the door where the booklet said it would be located. The curtains also had many pinholes in them. There was a funky smell to the hallway.Staff seem to be indifferent about it all and didn’t ask why we left so early. What you $ is exorbitant for what u get.

Room stank of cigarette smoke although the rooms are listed as non-smoking. Could not stay here with my infant son and had to arrange another hotel late at night as hotel was fully booked and the air freshener that was offered by the cleaner was not enough to mask the smell.

Location good. Property on corner of 2 main roads. Couldnt even open curtains as looks straight put to footpath, so zero privacy. Broken furniture and washing line...badly maintained.

The building is old but it is convenient since it is near a train station.

Location was good but servicing only once a week and having to pay to get clean towels was a real turn off.
