No dogs in the dining room please .
We enjoyed our stay however a little disappointed. We did except to have our breakfast in the main hall and not the pub down the road. I am a dog lover and have had dogs most of my life . I am a believer that there is a place for dogs and that is not where food is been eaten. A separate room or area SHOULD be provided for people who wish to dine with their animals . Other than that we enjoyed our stay .

A little different to the usual cabins
Our stay was a last minute booking to use up a hotels.com reward, the venue is only about 50 minutes drive from us. As we understood it from the host, we were one of the first to stay, indeed many of the other cabins are still in-build. The cabins are a bit different, with decent room space and good size bathroom. The cabins are located in the grounds of Newton Hall and the very good Joiners Arms is only five mins walk, the food there is very good. I would say these cabins are fine for a one/two night stay, any longer and I would need somewhere a little bigger. Our only issue was it was extremely hot in the room and with only an opening patio door, that we could not leave open as we had a dog with us, we could not get any fresh air to cool the room. We paid an extra £20 to take our dog and the room was provided with a dog bed, bowls and various treats.

Lovely night away
Beautiful stay, hot tub was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately when we arrived the thermostat was turned up and the heaters were making the cabin uncomfortably warm. We turned the thermostat down but there are no windows or AC so there is no way of cooling the cabin without keeping the doors wide open, which isn’t ideal

Disappointing to say the least
Very disappointing , lots of problems, things not working, poor workmanship , restricted bed access. Spoke to 3 different people over the weekend & nobody got back in touch to resolve any problems at all . Not worth £200 per night ! No maid service , apart from replacing toilet rolls & leaving 2 cans of water Extremely disappointing stay , I would not recommend this at all
Shoddy workmanship & things not finished
Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor & was covered in grout , that hadn’t been cleaned off
Poorly finished off Some panelling filled , others not
This was the space at the side of the bed to get in to it !
