Booked a hotel down the road, was not pleased at all. We were able to get a room last minute here and we were nothing but satisfied. Parking lot was full and a little tight but none the less there is enough parking for all guest. Will stay again in the future.

Clean room, comfortable mattress. Small couch and not very comfortable. Extremely loud family above us that had children that ran around from 3 pm til 9:30 pm and started back up at 6 am. We called the front desk 3 times and the loudness of the children didn’t stop. Called the manager the next day who said they would refund our night and apologized. Would not stay again due to that. While we understood it’s not the hotels fault I wish several times of calling the front desk would have stopped the nonsense. We could not enjoy a night away celebrating our new engagement.

From the staff, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to how the water park area was run, we couldn't be more pleased

The room and hotel were very clean. The staff was always nice and helpful with any questions. The king size bed was quite firm and very big. They didn't have rollaway beds, but offered an air mattress, sheets, blankets and pillows for our daughter. The air was running almost constantly from the time we got there until the time we left. This was actually good for us at night because we are used to sleeping with our echo dot going with nature sounds. It lulled me right to sleep. We spent two nights here for a little in state get away from home mini vacation. We stayed at the hotel accept for getting supper to bring back both nights. It was very simple to hook up our Wii to play our family games on the tv. The base of the tv swiveled to plug in the cords in the back. If you intend to watch much TV bring a chromecast or dvd player or plan on spending money for on demand. The channels are very limited. The water park inside was pretty decent. The only complaint I have is that when the waterslides are on you can't be in the fairly small pool at the bottom. This means unless you go on the slides or in the very shallow kiddie pool or hot tub that is limited to 10 minutes per person or family(no kids allowed)there are no water options for you. There are tables and chairs around the outside to sit and watch. Right now you have to schedule 40 minute sessions in the morning and evening that is with other people. Free swim, that you also have to schedule. A good time was had by all.

When we arrived for check-in, we were told that they were “just a couple of last-minute changes.” This included no free breakfast buffet and no fitness center (closed). Both of these changes were very undesirable for our family. There was a “grab and go” breakfast bag available, but it was definitely not enough to fill up any of us for very long (a small blueberry muffin, a piece of fruit, and a Nutri-Grain bar). Then, to use the waterpark, we knew that there were limited guests allowed in at one time and that it was “first come first serve,” using a sign-up method, but what a let-down it was with two young children to try to get a spot and then not get one because it was already fully booked—literally within 6 minutes of the time you could start calling to sign up for a spot. Also, the room was not set up well for a family even though we got a king bed studio suite with a sofa bed. The private bathroom area consisted of just a toilet and shower with no sink or mirror, so after getting out of the shower, there was no private area to dry off comfortably or put lotion on or look in the mirror, etc. Other hotels that have had a little kitchenette have also had some kitchen supplies like silverware and a dish rack, but Hampton Inn and Suites did not have any of this. Had I known, I would’ve brought our own plastic silverware. I also would not have brought my sneakers and workout attire had I known the fitness center was closed. Really was just a bummer all around.

With Covid they were restrictions around the use of the pool in the waterslides which is understood. I called before booking to understand what the restrictions were, The person I spoke to did not fully communicate with the restrictions were. When we arrived our room was not ready at the time of check-in we had to wait an extra 30 minutes and communication around use of the pool and waterslides with still not clear. We stayed two nights and had to have maintenance come twice to deal with the toilet because it wasn’t flushing properly. I had another guest notify me that one of the days the hotel was going to shut off all the water for three hours they should’ve.

The pillows could be better. They were almost flat. The bagged breakfast was sad. A breakfast sandwich should be offered.
