Good enough
First, the staff were excellent and very helpful. It is a quirky little hotel that is generally well-kept and while dated, that is part of the charm. The location is very close to the Bazaar and the view from the breakfast terrace is very good. Breakfast was mediocre- I found a hair in one of the dishes, which happens- I was done after the second hair. There were also different times for breakfast listed by the desk and the restaurant- a little frustrating as plans were built on that. Overall the room (Jr. Suite) was comfortable and quiet enough- it overlooked a street that became a restaurant at night.

Enjoyable stay in Istanbul
We had an enjoyable stay at the bikes hotel. Service was excellent and personal, the decor of the lobby was fantastic and had an authentic traditional feel. The hotel is within walking distance of the major sights of sultanahmet such as the blue mosque, basilica cistern etc The rooms are small, but this is to be expected of a city hotel. The beds are comfortable and then linens clean and pleasant. Would recommend.
