The hotel is located directly in the lake. The pool and the restaurants overlook the lake. The hotel decor is very elegant and beautiful. Our room was a very decent size overlooking the lake. The view of the lake from the room was just perfect. Staff is very courteous and attentive. We had an issue with the shower and someone came up in less then 5 minutes to fix it. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very upscale and delicious. Location of the hotel is also perfect. It’s directly next to the ferry which takes you to other little towns. So you don’t need to drive to the ferry if you want to visit other towns. It’s a short 5 min walk from the center where you can grab eats and visit local shops. Overall great experience.

Lovely location but very outdated hotel which needs large amount of updates, poor staff customer service, poor rooms, lack of parking, expensive and poor restaurant. Staff in restaurants are extremely poor except for the young staff

Great location and beautiful building with good facilities. Staff were friendly and committed to delivering a high quality of service. The only down side was that the room was a little tired and carpet could have done with a clean but it didn't detract from an excellent stay. Would definitely stay at this hotel again

Such a beautiful setting with a superb panorama of the lake and mountains. Convenient for a short stroll into Menaggio. Just wish the male waiting staff could interact more and the bar staff would recognise it is usual for them to come to the customers and not vice versa.
