Lovely room, shame about the rest
We stayed over the Christmas period. Our en suite private room was clean, big and bright. However, multiple staff members couldn’t answer our questions about the Christmas meal at the bar (including what time it was) despite lots of advertising for it. Free pancake breakfast you have to cook yourself. Didn’t expect to have to pay for WiFi when you pay for a private room. Kitchen is small for the size of the hostel and needs updating.

Everything was good except for the shower. The water didn't drain when you take a shower. It accumulated and would flow o e into the floor.

Good location with reasonable price
nice place to stay, close to everywhere esp the Cuban Street. The staff at the reception desk are very helpful. Price is reasonable for a family [3 of us]. However, you could probably improve your bed matrass as they are a bit too soft. In general, we like to go back and stay with you again

Good location, busy hostel.
Cool vibe, close to attractions and city center. Reception was helpful and able to handle large number of guests in short order. Rooms are basic, but en-suite bathroom was nice. Downstairs is usually packed with guests watching movies, playing games and cooking. WiFi is only at reception area, you have to pay for WiFi in rooms. Laundry facility is standard. FREE pancakes and dinner were a bonus!

Not happy
Bed was uncomfortable and not very clean, no toiletries and not even a drinking glass. Plus the shower head was crap the worst thing was we couldn’t even take a friend up to our room.. not very impressed

Friendly place in great location
Awesome staff, very smiley and helpful. Great value for money but room was very hot and although huge fan helped, its was still difficult to cool down. Big lounge and kitchen with nice courtyard as well.

Great overnighter
We came to explore Wellington for the day and have the Backpacker experience. Nomads and their team were very professional and helpful. It was a fantastic stay and we would definetly go back.

Small room and squeeky beds
I had reserved this hotel for 2 nights However, I checked out the morning after my first night. I coyld not sleep for a minute. Everytime someone moved a little bit, the beds made massive noises and woke everuone up. The hotel was overall clean, but the bed conditions and small size of the room which housed 8 people was intolerable.

It could be way better
The keycards were not working properly. The staff had to let me into my room three times. The kitchen is way to small for the amount of people. As well there was not enough cutlery. The pans were very used. Breakfast is a joke. A bucket of pancake dough. Even in the common areas the WiFi was barely usable. Beds were squeaky and shaky. Overall I would say it’s not worth the money and I feel ripped of. Sorry about this.
