Hotel has excellent location, reasonable room sizes and comfortable bedding. However, the Deluxe room shown in the Expedia photo is not what we were assigned. Our room was of much lower standards and located at the rear of the hotel with a single small window facing an ally. None of the furnishings, wood flooring and ample window bays in the Expedia pic were in our room. Breakfast for 2 at $39 Euros is expensive and with poor options as compared to other European hotels of this category or even less. Friends stayed at other hotels nearby with better room / breakfast quality. For our case; the room assigned was simply not as advertised.

The hotel didn’t have big shower/bath towels; or fresh flowers in public spaces or bellmen to take my luggage. No croissants at breakfast: no artificial sweeteners for my morning coffee;no English language newspaper on the lobby tables;no little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion/hand cream; bathroom sink drains in both rooms I was in ran very slow— slow to empty. Just little things like this to make the hotel in some ways seem merely average or below average...
