SAD FAREWELL TO STAYS AT PIGGS PEAK!
Probably the 10th time to the hotel. The facilities are extremely run down. Did not have either 1st choice or 2nd choice of what I ordered from the dinner menu. Pool not working. No plug in basin. Safe not working. No door handle on sliding door to veranda. Probably will never go back. So sad as have pleasant and happy memories of previous stays at hotel!

Hard work
Staff training has been poor. Reluctant to answer queries, unavailable to open the car park access gate, unfriendly at the Reception Desk and Very slow to assist. The breakfast staff were approachable, hospitable and efficient. Those rooms overlooking the valley are in a great position: those not, not. 10 kms from town and huge with exuberant kariokey (and the armed guard there rather than at the entrance!). Great setting but overwhelming in itself.
