There was a loud group in room next to us partying until 4:30am. Smoke detectors went off. They refused to quiet down when we asked them. We had a long drive the next day and got little sleep.

Check in was quick, no problem with reservations and hotel/ room looked and smelled clean. Due to Covid we were wary and checked all common areas. The desk clerk was welcoming and very helpful with restaurants and nearby activities. We plan on returning .

The first room we was given had a broken dresser drawer on the floor and up against the dresser. We switched rooms and the next was better but the bed was so uncomfortable, the heater didn't heat the room.

The room was great, no issues there. The lobby staff was less than attentive, and there was no coffee in the lobby in the morning with the included breakfast. Understandably, with COVID we don't expect the normal hot breakfast, but the cereal (Raisin Bran) was stale. I have plans to return to the ares 2x in December, but will not stay here.

The property, generally, presents as clean and modern. The staff, upon check in, was pleasant and efficient. We checked in about 9:00pm and it seemed as though there was only one person on staff and we had to wait for her to appear from some back room, wherever she was. The first room we were given had an OVERWHELMING smell of damp and mustiness. We asked to change rooms. The second room also smelled of dampness, but not as badly as the first, so we kept it. The next morning, the cleaning staff seemed like they couldn’t wait for us to check out, so they could clean our room and be done with it. The pervasive smell and feeling of dampness was the worst thing about this hotel. The damp smell even cling to the clothes I wore to sleep in that night. For the $68 plus tax we paid, I guess it’s a case of “you get what you pay for”. Decent breakfast grab and go. Horrible coffee. Safe, well-lit parking and very convenient to the highway.
