Hotel Casena Dei Colli

Beautiful establishment, garden, rooms. Looks even nicer than in the pictures. Comfortable beds, pillows. Well kept in general, some small repairs needed - e.g. no place to hang the bathroom towels or beach towels. We travelled with a dog and this was a heaven for him - he rolled on the green grass and chilled :)

It's really rare to see such a green oasis anywhere in Sicily. It's a really nice place to relax and cool down in the evening. Rooms are beautiful, breakfast with a very wide choice, dinner also delicious at good prices. What we liked most is the closeness of Mondello beach. It took us 7 minutes to get there by car, so we could get a quick morning dip and get back in time for breakfast. We loved it.

Awesome customer service and breakfast buffet

The property is located on the west side of Palermo in a very, very quiet setting. Parking is easy and free. The rooms are very clean and the baths have recently been remodeled and well done. If one wants to tour just outside of Palermo, this place is especially great because you won't have to be in the center of town where there is a lot of traffic, difficult parking or a lot of ZTLs (where the streets become pedestrian walkways). If you want to walk around, there are stores and restaurants nearby (including a nice sized grocery store about two blocks away). The breakfast area is welcoming and the selections are great. Another high point, the heating -cooling is room independent. You can make it as warm or cool as you want. It's about 3 miles from the historical center of Palermo

Not much around the hotel, especially on Sundays. Could not get WiFi to work unless we were in check in area which made it challenging to finish travel plans. Depending on which building you’re in you may not have an elevator, but staff carried bags up at check in. AC works well but you have to call them at 503 from your room to turn it on and tell them what temp to set it to, which they didn’t explain at check in. No laundry service on the weekend either and closest laundry mat on Sunday was a $20 can ride one way away, so we had to wash items by hand. All that aside it’s a clean decent hotel-they just need to update some of this info before people book.

Needed a quick stay before flying out. The Hotel grounds itself is great, the surrounding area is not as great. The hotel rooms and grounds were wonderful.

Very good experience - we will be going again in the near future
