Far form being Swiss Hotel
I wish there is less than one star to rate it. Brand name and photos can be misleading and that is the case with Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai. The Hotel furniture is outdated, noisy and very dirty. The Hotel staff are unprofessional and bad-mannered. Although I paid U$D 485 per night but the hotel does not deserve a $100. Do not you ever think considering this hotel especially if you’re a family. Very bad experience me and family had.

Worst Front Desk staff including manager on duty
This is the most rude and unprofessional staffed hotel i have stayed in Dubai, completely over rated and expensive for no reason. I would recommend anyone to think again before decide to stay here. Front desk staff and managers are very rude and non-cooperative.

Not a good experience - definitely not 5*
Arrived at hotel at 11am - asked for early check-in for pre-booked stay - immediately told (without receptionist even looking at the computer) there were no spare rooms and to check my luggage in at another desk. After he watch me queue for 10 mins, he called me back over and said 'oh you'll be pleased to know, we do have a room ready', which I'm sure there was in the first place. The hotel itself is in dire need of a makeover - very dated and scruffy in places - most definitely not worthy of a 5* status. It advertises 2 lounge bars - on my second night at 1930hrs, I asked for directions to the lounge bar and a quiet comfy place to sit, read my book and have a small glass of wine - I was taken to a hideously dark and creepy bar attached to the hotel which had a massive tv on the wall showing a very loud game of football. I returned immediately to the hotel and was told by the restaurant staff that I could go to the 'executive lounge' - the only other one they had. She took me to the reception to request my access and was told that I had to pay 120AED to gain access (£27) but that I would have to exit at 8pm when it closed - giving me less than 30 mins. I was told I was not allowed to drink a glass of wine in the foyer. The staff showed no discretion, compassion or understanding. There was no hotel information book in the room.
