Great Location & Luxurious Experience
I had an amazing 2 nights at Sofitel. I was here with my fiancé to celebrate our engagement. Didn't get to check my email prior before reaching Queenstown. I was surprised when I enter the room to find a bottle of sparkling arranged for by Josef Caron (Guest Relations Executive). The hotel is centrally located. Our room was nicely furnished and overlooking the city. They even have a deep jacuzzi tub for you to soak and enjoy and heated bathroom floor and the biggest plus point is that the room is very spacious. What amazed the both of us is the turndown service. Every evening when we returned to our room, our beds would be made up and a tray with cups and tea was left. On our last night we requested for a late check-out as our hot air balloon plans were rescheduled due to bad weather and was given an extension. I wish I can remember the name of the front desk ambassador who assisted me with my request because the next day when I checked out she even asked me how was my hot air balloon experience. Really very dedicated service. I honestly cannot think of one negative. I will definitely recommend Sofitel! The perfect place to celebrate your anniversary or special occasion. Even if you are not celebrating anything, you will definitely not regret staying with Sofitel!

The staff & service were amazing, we had a king room but it was 2 single beds pushed together which has been fine before. But there was something on top of the mattress & it came to a peak in the middle of the bed. We should have asked to change rooms but had unpacked and couldn’t be bothered in the end
