My wife and I totally enjoyed the ocean view hotel rooms which provided a 40 mile paromanic view of the eastern view of BoraBora. Very clean small beach with good snorkeling. Friendly helpful staff. My wife and I were very happy we resisted the temptation of staying in an "over the water" bungalow compared to our fantastic view from the ocean view apartments.

The difference between the ocean view room & overwater bungalow was extreme! The first night we stayed in the ocean view room and it was hot and LOUD (we could hear all the noise from the restaurant and both rooms from either side of us) and had mosquitos everywhere. Luckily they let us switch to the bungalow and it was outstanding and still less than half the price of the Intercontinental bungalows that you can literally swim to from here. Really happy we didn’t pay all the extra money to stay there because this was a much better value & still beautiful, we walked over to intercontinental at one point and while it’s definitely fancier, it’s not double the price fancy! Hotel Mai Tai is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the main beach in Bora Bora, the staff was very friendly and scooter rentals are cheap from the front desk!

We came from the Conrad so this property isnt as luxurious. But the staff are friendly & helpful. The overwater bungalows are probably the best value in bora bora. The restaurant is good. The only thing is I think they could do a little better on cleaning the rooms. When we checked in there were small details that could have been cleaner.

This is a beautiful property. The resort is located on the beach and the overwater bungalows were awesome. We saw stingrays swimming under our hut several times each day. My daughter stayed in the ocean view room and it has the best view of the lagoon. The staff is amazing and they took care of all our needs. They went above and beyond and the managers were always there to answer our questions.

We stayed in an over water bungalow. It was next to a small coral reef, so we were able to snorkel right off of the porch with large coral heads and numerous colorful fish. They have some displays of reef restoration which were quite interesting. The view from our room was beautiful. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. The beach was nice for relaxing and we had free use of kayaks. A small market is close by. Most of all, this place is a great value for what you get at a reasonable price.
