The staff was very friendly and the property, including my room, was exceptionally clean. I would have given 5 stars but I found the bed uncomfortable. It was too high off the floor and too soft. (I’m short with a bad back.) I’m not sure if I’ll stay there again because of the bed. That’s the whole point of a hotel stay, right? I asked if other rooms had different mattress options and was told “no”, all mattresses are the same. I do love that my specific room had a walk-in shower. That was a plus.

My check in went fine but after I checked in is when the problem arose. My husband is a diabetic and hadn’t eaten anything. Immediately after checking into our room, I went out to the truck and told him the room number and gave him a key while I went and got us dinner. He used the lobby restroom right away when entering the building and, due to his critically low blood sugar he forgot what room number. He asked the employee who had checked me in moments prior, and she not only wouldn’t tell him the room number, she actually threatened to call the police on him! He asked her if she would call me because, he was also having a difficult time remembering my phone number in his diabetic delirium... this lady called up to the room (where she knew I was not) and when I didn’t answer, told my husband he needed to exit the building immediately! When I got back from getting us dinner, he was wandering around the parking lot with no jacket, on a 30° evening, dazed and confused from dangerously low blood sugar! She never apologized or, made any attempt to apologize to my husband at all. Plus, to top it all off she put us in a room right next to the elevator equipment room. So, every time someone used the elevator it was loud and there was an obnoxious beep. The parking lot was empty so I am sure there were other options. But, oh well at least it was only for two nights.

Stayed for 4 nights to visit family in Denver and the hotel was very clean. I was worried since Covid is an issue but I couldn’t have felt safer here! Highly recommend and the staff are so friendly and helpful!
