Great hotel near to Birmingham International station, Birmingham airport and NEC. Lovely people and great food Clean and quite spacious room if slightly dated which didn't matter to us. Only problem is that we had to have a taxi even though where we were going can be seen from the hotel but not totally safe to walk to. Dog friendly

Two night stay.
Hotel very well situated for airport. Nice and clean, we had breakfast there which was very good both days. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Nice bar with no TV - bonus! Pool is small but good. No complaints.

Not awful for the price paid
For the price paid for the room it wasn't awful but the corridors and hotel room decor and carpets were very old and scruffy. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and we were woken up lots in the night with doors banging shut. My daughter spilt a drink all over the bed and they were very good at changing it for us so the service part was very good. The shower was awful no pressure at all. The coke from the bar was discusting and flat and expensive. We stayed here as close to the resorts world arena but we didn't realise it would take so long to get there. Online and staff advised 10-15 min walk it took us more like 30 mins as with a 3 year old and the underpass was not open and we had to go through the train station and NEC. Also not the nicest didn't feel the safest of areas to be walking alone with a child. We walked past a few cars that were parked and had been smashed in and lots of litter. The staff had also advised it was about £5 in a taxi so after the long walk there we got a taxi back which actually cost £10 and we wanted to be back at the car park by 2pm as parking is only free until 2pm on day of departure. When we checked out we were not asked how our stay was.

Clean tidy and functional
Clean tidy and functional, with friendly staff. Great position for NEC. Looking a little tired and would benefit from a lick of paint, but pleasurable all the same.

Good price but needs refurb
Great rate for the room and perfect for The Resorts World Arena where we were visiting. The hotel on the whole was nice and the bed was comfy and clean. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. The room however had damp patches all over and the decor was stuck in the 80s with the drawers falling apart. Definitely in need of an urgent refurb.
