It's a motel but one of the nicer ones I have stayed in. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Anywhere else, this would be little more than a cheap motor inn that costs a fraction of the price. The location is amazing, however, so it gets a mediocre rating. If you are looking for a relatively cheap stay in an amazing location, this will work.

We have stayed at La Avenida several times over the years. It is conveniently located and reasonably priced for Coronado. We were sad to hear that the property has been sold and will close PERMANENTLY at the end of August.

This was a cute little inn right in the middle of everything on the island. If you looking for charm, this is it. Parking was easy (and FREE) and we were able to walk to the beach and places to eat and shop. They also brought us a roll-away, which I hadn't expected, which made our stay more comfortable.
