Everything was great on my stay, everything was kept neat and tidy, very courteous staff, good food options, nice shows, music, etc., so all great! It is just that next time I will book a suite for my family, 4 people on those two double beds in one room was too crowded for ~10 days. But I booked not too much in advance and I knew what I was paying for, so no complaints to the hotel staff on this as well.

Good resort - restaurant reservations need work.
Overall the resort is nice and the food was good. They can use improvements with the private restaurants. They make you stand in a line at 4:00 p.m. the day before each day to make a reservation for the following day. This literally ate up 45 minutes to an hour of my day every time.

Wonderful staff, clean & conveniently located
By far, the staff was accommodating, friendly, helpful and always pleasant! I like that the property is a close drive to the airport and convenient to many attractions. The property was well-maintained though a little older. The rooms are basic but comfortable, though not soundproof at night from the bar music or neighboring hotel music. The pool and beach are lovely. Great family spot. The food options were somewhat limited with the two nicer restaurants open only for dinner and requiring reservations a full day in advance, leaving the buffet as a main option for most meals. Breakfast was robust and tasty. However, dinner at the buffet was mediocre with several overcooked pasta selections. Our food was also cold. I think this is a great spot for traveling with a Family. Although it boasts a five star rating, I would not call it a luxury hotel.

Nice hotel but bad food
The hotels rooms and amenities were clean and perfect, but the food was terrible. The Breakfast was good, but the lunch and dinner is horrible. You can expect an average Chinese buffet. It seems the only fish they serve is cheap farm raised tilapia, same deserts every day. Moreover, it is very difficult to make a reservation in one of the other two restaurants. It was sad that i had better Mexican food at Chipolte. The rooms are clean and new.
