    Staff is not friendly

    The room I paid for wasn’t exactly the same as in description. Staff wasn’t really friendly when I asked for the service I was promised on website, I remember it was offered breakfast included but they refused to accommodate it. Representative send us to wrong building and it took us a while to find correct villa. It was my birthday celebration but the mood was ruined by so many little things that wasn’t addressed properly. Not going to be back there just for those reasons.

    Not grand place to stay poor service

    Che k in took 45 mins. I had two room explained that I would be paying for the room. Gave my credit card. Told them was a gift for brother-in-law law. Turned into a big issue upon check in. Asked for manager. The manager was rude Rol Had no iron or board. Called delivered amd iron did not work. Room toilet backed up. Lick in back door does not work. Called your friend t desk does not care. Poor people skills in training. Friend check in first thing out of his mouth was how rude front desk. We were all here for daughters wedding. Not one person had a nice thing to say about fri t desk. Gal at pool wonderful servers. Only good experience. Not a cheep hotel. Will never stay again and will share with all I know.

    Bad Management

    This place has really lost itself. Needed a reservation for everything- wine tasting, restaurant etc. I had addressed other concerns to the manager Erika and she completely brushed me off. It’s manager like that where petty stuff make it a horrible stay. I can only imagine how she was act on bigger issues. Would not recommend during covid.

    I wish the TV is a smart tv and bigger tv. The location of the TV is not good for watching it comfortably. It's facing the bed diagonally and far away from the bed. The couch is not facing the tv either. It's weird set up. In room dining menu doesn't have many selections. Creme brulee desert is very very salty.

    Disappointed :(

    I’ve stayed here before and really enjoyed it, but this time was very different. We waited an hour after check in to get our room. The manager was very apologetic and accommodating, but it just got worse from there. We ordered ice and water that never came. Wanted to order in room service and it was going to take 75 minutes to deliver, decided to get it ourselves. Asked for extra bath towels and hand towels, received bath mats instead of hand towels. The worst part of it all...the bed was HARD! Not sure if they got new beds, but this mattress had no give. I’m a side sleeper, woke up with hip, back and neck pain after the first night. Couldn’t sleep at all the second night. I understand being short staffed during a pandemic, maybe they weren’t ready for an influx of guests, but the uncomfortable sleeping was the straw that broke it all! Very disappointed!

    I am very disappointed in South Coast Winery. I have been a wine member for a couple of years and i made reservations because I recently found out that it was dog friendly however, it is not! The front desk lady that checked me in was a nice lady and i told her i have my 2 dogs they seen me walk in with them however, i booked a wine tour and left my dogs inside room and i was told they cannot be left in room? How does this make sense? when you want to go to pool and you want to go eat dinner at the property they should let you take your pet with you they said you cannot take your dog to the pool or take the dogs to restaurant? So how are you dog friendly? this is not dog friendly hotel it is a rude lady at the desk calling me saying my dogs were barking which is not true because they are less than 10 pounds each and I live in a high rise in DTLA and my dogs dont make a sound... I highly suggest SCW gets there act together if they say they are dog friendly when they are not dog friendly and you cannot take your dog anywhere on the property all a scam!!! And manager of property is not help full at all and lets his staff be super rude to guest!! So canceling my membership!

    Nice winery for fair price

    It was very nice. I understand covid rules I wish the outdoor jacuzzi was open which doesn’t make sense since their spa is open. Also, the prices on room service was exorbitant in my opinion.
