We had a quick get away to celebrate our anniversary. The place was cozy with a fire place and comfy bed. The staff is so kind. The breakfast and coffee was amazing. Location was close to plaza. We will definitely be back.
Gorgeous rooms, perfect location! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Rooms had lovely furniture and fireplaces. Very nice breakfast and complimentary espressos. Would be great for a romantic getaway
Perfect location, just a couple blocks from the square. Friendly staff. Sweet rooms, with in room fire places. Espresso bar is my favorite and during covid the deliver your breakfast. Love this hotel.
Best service!
This is a wonderful place to stay. I really appreciated the customer service and facilities. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Santa Fe and would recommend Las Palomas over any other.
We love this place...the people, the digs, the service, the location, and the uniquely personal feel of the whole place. We didn't want to leave. We started off unexpectedly upgraded to a very posh room (more like an apartment!) with a complete kitchen, gas fireplace, living room, and raised deck with a dining area. We opted to move into one of the smaller, older "pueblitos" with a wood burning fireplace and a precious private terrace at the end of a walkway. It was like being transported and there was nothing about it that felt like a chain hotel! The owner left warm breakfast on our door each morning and we were brought fire wood each evening. Everyone we met was lovely. We can't wait to get back to Santa Fe and can't imagine staying anywhere else!
Warm and welcoming stay right in town. Loaded with character and run with care and common sense. An assortment of unique rooms all Pueblo style with fireplaces and kitchens and some with sweet surprises like a patio or a private courtyard. We were brought firewood in the evenings and a warm breakfast left on our doorknob (made fresh each morning by the owner, Neil, who you might find sporting a simple apron in the front office offering cappuccinos to guests). We were so delighted with the place, and the wonderful staff, that we extended our stay by two days and are hoping to come back for an extended stay!
Service and cleanliness are great. The rooms and grounds are very cute. The beds leave a little something to be desired and the roof shifts in the night making loud creaking noises which can wake you up.
Amazing experience. Easy check in with very helpful front desk staff. Room was very clean and just as expected. Very comfortable bed. We had to leave before breakfast was delivered to the room so the front desk gave us a to-go bag of warm breakfast for the drive upon checkout with fresh lattes for the road!
We arrived at night and were dismayed at the location and appearance, as it looks very old, a bit dodgy, and inconspicuous from the outside. And while the buildings are old, once in the daylight they are very charming. The bed was very comfortable (best we’d had on a 16 night road trip), and even during COVID they hand delivered a very nice homemade breakfast to our door. Even the toiletries provided were of a higher quality. My only reason for a 4 and not a 5 was because the other furniture in our room (chairs) were old and uncomfortable and the room was extremely plain, not what I expected for Santa Fe. The room, while comfortable, still needs some updating, including decor.
