Nice, clean, updated room with a comfortable bed. Not many dining options nearby.
We almost did not come to Grand Rapids due to the difficulty of finding a hotel online that I liked. I had to spend more than I liked to obtain a room with decent ratings. This room met my expectations and then some. It could sleep six people but there was only two of us. My son used the desk and then I had a small sofa with a coffee table for my use. The bathroom was large with a big counter and a storage shelf. It was about a 3 mile easy drive to an area with all the restaurants. There is a gas station right next door that is convenient. We opted to stay a little out of town and drive to our destinations which were the John Ball Zoo, Meyer Hay House, Frederick Meijer Sculpture Garden, and the Public Museum. We had no trouble with the driving.
All around good stay
Room comfortable. Clean hotel. Area safe. No food options around without driving.
This was a short getaway for my mom, sister and me. We rented two rooms next to each other, which was easy. The breakfast was more than the typical continental breakfast and the staff were especially friendly.
