We needed a place with a washer/dryer between the 1st and 2nd week of our travels, and this place exceeded all expectations and they truly paid attention to all of the details of service and amenities that we’ve experienced in our other 5 star hotels! It’s slightly uphill and a bit of a longer walk from most of the shops and restaurants than hotels a little further south, but it’s a beautiful, calming walk (especially along the river) with a far more local flair, and we enjoyed and appreciated the walk after much heavier meals (Fondu Heaven) than we are accustomed to. There are transportation options but we’ve chosen to walk and enjoy. They’ve made this place so comfortable that it feels like a break “home” in the midst of a hotel whirlwind! My 11 yr old son never wants to leave here!
