Not a great experience
When we checked in we said we were leaving before breakfast started and asked if we could have someting before we left or take it with us. We were told that coffee etc would be available and the night staff would be made aware. When we asked in the morning for our tray i was told that night staff had been made aware but nothing was avaliable. In addition, drinks and food that we had during our stay had been paid for as we ordered so there would be no extras bill on check out. However my brother was presented with a bill for over £80 for drinks we had not ordered! Somebody had made an error or were trying to avoid paying thier bill. I chose this place because we have stayed before, not again I'm afraid.

Harbour Heights
Both my wife and myself enjoyed our stay here, very helpful pleasant staff. The Chinese Restaurant is the best on this planet, we would travel to Poole just to eat there. JB & MB

Great stay and location
Great stay. Salvadore on reception made my birthday special, inc chocolates in room and a treat at dinner, he was also very helpful. Waiting staff very attentive and pleasant. Views are fabulous. Food in restaurant good. It was quiet but that suited us. Attractions within walking distance. We would stay again.

8/10 Very good

Outstanding views lovely location
The bar staff struggled a bit but they were very pleasant, the reception staff very helpful, one lovely lady even gave us a suggestion for a day out sightseeing that was fabulous. Restaurant staff very attentive food ok. The room we had was in need of refurbishment, woodwork scratched and worn, shaving mirror rusty showing signs of age, bed uncomfortable for us, could do with modernising! Having said that we would go again for the location.

So the Harbour View in Poole is a bit of a Enigma Rooms facing harbour nice, otherwise not so great Food is mediocre, service from wait staff a shocker they are doing you such a favour, very snobby It’s five star prices with a three star standard Needs a good rethink in my opinion Modern day Faulty Towers

Disappointed
View restaurant dinner poor unvaried menu “choices “ of the day only one item. Menu as website a month before. Breakfast not up to standard of four star hotel, poor choice unless you paid extra. Not always given what you asked for, and not always available
