Don’t waste your time!!!!!!!!
The hole experience from the start was just frustrating. We offered to pay and upgrade to a King room but they were unwilling to work with 3rd party guests since we booked through hotels.com. The restaurant was closed for season which was never mentioned when I searched the property. They put a couple on a floor with rooms filled with you loud teenage boys and a younger family right next to us. I immediately went down to request to be moved. Same 3rd party guest response. Wanted to take little nap before going out for the night, guess we were above the laundry room you could hear the machines plus it shook our whole room. Literally had to use all your force to close the bathroom door. Overall not impressed with service not the room and if this is the response I should expect by booking through this site then I’m done. Location was nice but that’s the only thing I can say about this place.

Overnight post holiday get away
I think the hotel is very quaint. The rooms are not big but they are comfortable, clean and have charm and character. Our room looked out at the beach and although the road outside is busy, we really didn’t notice it. It was great to walk on the beach the next morning. Walking distance to restaurants. We didn’t really see the staff. Check in was quick but we had to ring a bell to get them and that was the only time we saw anyone that worked there. No matter, this was the second time we have stayed there and we would definitely stay there again.

comfortable bed but a few fixit issues
The room was nice. It was obviously an old building which gave it a lot of character. The view was pretty good with a nice view of the ocean. The room itself had a few issues. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly and one of the windows wouldn't open all the way and it was pretty warm and humid. There was a jetted tub that was really nice.

Rip off! Old overpriced place!
Stay away!!! Holiday Inn is a five-star resort after THIS horrific place and service. No jokes! No photos of the dimpy rooms on their web site! Stayed in the “historic” building 1 night. This is a perfect example when the price doesn’t match the quality. For 371$ you will get the outdated room with scratched old furniture (so small that you can barely move), fallen apart blinds, dirty windows, dusty corners, rusty appliances and pipes. Granite vanities with custom cabinetry, and luxury bath amenities-where?! Haven’t seen any! You can’t even wash your face because the shelf on top of the sink prevents you from this. No bottled water in the room! No water in the vending machine. Called to the front desk to ask some and was told to go to another building in the middle of the night to check another vending machine. For 371$!!! Front desk personnel don’t know where the spa is in their hotel! There is no limit to the disturbance. Measures should be taken so they will stop to rip off people. The price must be much lower than it is, and the place should be renovated. And obviously, the complaint at the front desk didn’t go anywhere, I was recommended that I should have called the hotel to discuss the room details when I was booking it online! Have you ever done that before? I haven’t! Would they tell me about the “details”? I doubt it! Don’t waste your money! Stay away!
