I chose to lose the slower paced all-inclusive resort for this trip for relaxation. And...I missed it. The property is quiet in terms of people but between the rooster cockadooodledooing any hour of the day and insects that sound like a smoke alarm that needs a battery, it was not. The restaurant food was decent but overpriced for what u get and not enough variety for long stays. Local bars, street food and a market are less than a mile walk and I never felt unsafe. And while the staff from the front desk to the maintenance staff are very accommodating, I missed various restaurant options, activities and entertainment of an all-inclusive which could've been had at the same price.
