Beautiful location. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. On-site store. Close to restaurants, grocery stores etc. Covid restrictions prevented cleaning services. Cleaning staff were on site but did not remove garbage which built up. One staff member removed 5 towels and replaced them with 2. Be prepared to ask for what you need and pick up from reception. Restaurants had outdoor seating. Minimal menu which was overpriced.

Our reservations did not allow us to check in until 4 PM. When checking my two rooms weren’t ready. My cousin and my son were checked in to a dirty room. It was frustrating because having to wait until 4 PM to check in I thought for sure our rooms would be ready, since check out time is 11 AM. Also being that we paid for our rooms and reserved ahead of time. I had to wait a little over an hour for my rooms to be ready.

The hotel itself was overall nice and clean. Nicely located to the heart of south Tahoe and walkable to the lake. However, we paid for the more expensive “lake view” room at booking but all we got was a pile of snow facing another building as pic shown. The response from staff is that it’s a short walk to lake but to me that’s not lake view and I wouldn’t have paid extra knowing what it really meant... on top of that we were charged the resort fee, which understandable that many amenities aren’t opened during winter time. Staff mentioned the resort fee was to cover parking and wifi, but when we drove to our building/room there was literally no parking, at around 8pm. We ended up having to park at another building and carry our stuff across piles of icy snow in dark. It was getting late so we didn’t bother to go all the way back up to front desk to complain. That would’ve just been more walking or losing the last few spot we could find. Again, another thing I wouldn’t pay for if I had the choice.

It was a great hotel but check in was at 4 and when we got there they told me that it would be about another 30 mins because the room wasn’t clean yet but that she would make sure it was done next. Well we went back 40 mins later and it still wasn’t read, they said 10 mins. So 10 mins later we went up and asked and it STILL wasn’t ready and they said “another 10 mins” we were pissed at this point and my husband expressed our irritation. We left to go get something to eat and as soon as we were leaving they said the room was ready. The overall stay was fine, the room was ok. But the service was crap.

room was not ready when I arrived, was told to come back in 1/2 hour. came back 1 hour later & was told room was still not ready. waited another 25 mins. got card keys & they did not work. had to go back & stand in long line for a 3rd time. I was also charged an additional fee even though I had already paid for my room. will NEVER return.

Got beachfront for 2 adults 2 children. Received only 3 towels, our fireplace did not work. When we ran out of toilet paper and towels tried calling front desk AND housekeeping and there was NO answer. Mind you I called at least 10 times to both numbers. I was expecting a bathtub considering I put we had a 3yr old and 5yr old. They gave us a room with the tiniest shower. NO BATHTUB 😑😒 OVERALL completely NOT satisfied.

The location is amazing. It's right at the lake. We loved the easy access to the lake and our dog loved playing in the snow. Also close to Safeway, CVS and heavenly gondola. Room could have been cleaner...there was something stuck to the ceiling else they do assure you of all the measures they are taking to clean during Covid. Bathroom was neat. A low budget hotel so don't expect high quality service. The room is small with only one bedside table to keep stuff. Every room has a balcony and ours had a view so overall not a bad deal. The ceilings are thin...you hear every step of people staying above you or walking down the corridor.

The stay was overall beautiful! Checking in was very fast and the employees were very nice and attentive. When we got into the room, everything was clean. They also left a message on the bed stating how they clean and sanitize each and every room in the building. We got a partial view of the beach and it was breath taking. There’s a restaurant right by us called, “The Boat House” and I highly recommend going there! The food was delicious, staffs are very friendly, and you get to see a beautiful view of the beach and mountains. This stay was a great experience overall. Great place to spend it with love ones!
