Paradise Vacation
This has been an amazing trip! My husband planned a vacation for us all by himself. In the 22.5 years we have been married we have never been on a vacation. We went to Cape Lookout for 2 days and then he had booked a stay at the Historic Brookstown Inn. And let me just say OMG!! The room was spectacular! The historic feel with modern comfort was perfect! The staff was amazing as well. And since we have never had a real vacation, I asked the young man at the front desk tonight if I could keep one of the key cards (I'm going to make a shadow box of our adventures) and he said sure, no problem. I am so happy with our stay. By Good Coffee is a must if you stay here! The beautiful soul woohoo waited on us had the most beautiful smile and was so happy. The Chai Latte was AMAZING! We also visited the history of Main St, the shops on Trade St. Casa Shanti was amazing! The owner was so sweet! Helped me find some amazing gifts for my daughter. Camel City Goods was very nice and the young man working recommended Mr. Barbecue to eat, so of course went there as well! And he wasn't wrong! Best barbecue EVER!! Thank you to everyone we met along the way! The hospitality if NC is amazing!

Our stay was excellent! Sara, at the front desk, was an outstanding example of what a hotel representative should be. The hotel itself is beautiful and cozy, restyled from a 19th century cotton mill, with large quiet rooms and located in a perfect central location. Everything about this place is impressive! We plan on staying here every time we come to Winston-Salem.

Wonderful Southern hospitality
Love this place. Second time staying here to drop my daughter off at college in Winston-Salem. (Where we see lots of other parents doing the same.) Beautiful setting and atmosphere in a historic brick building, spacious, very comfortable rooms. Feels genuinely hospitable, with wine and cheese happy hour and milk and (yummy) cookies in the evening, in their cozy lounge. Great breakfast. Details like always available coffee and bottles of water are such a help. Centrally located, with four terrific restaurants from gourmet to funky Mexican, and a great coffee/pastry shop within a few hundred feet; right next to a beautiful park. Our go to spot in Winston-Salem.

Excellent hotel
Wonderful hotel! This hotel is so charming and has the friendliest and most helpful staff. Room was large and comfortable with a full size bathroom. Parking very easy and close to the front door. Great location with excellent Camino Bakery right across the street. I will definitely be back!
