Watch out for beakfast charges .Theyvadvertise two separate breakfast which makes you buy the more expensive breakfast in order to get a better selection. However if you buy the cheaper breakfast there is no one to check which breakfast you bought .so I felt we where scammed by clever advertising! Also the food was stale which was very poor .

Staying in Inverness
Out of our entire trip through Scotland and England this was much more expensive than anywhere else we stayed so we think it was overpriced in comparison. The ambiance of an old railway hotel was cool. We also received a lovely fruit platter and some bottled water which was appreciated. The location beside the train station was PERFECT.

Dated but good service
Great service. Nothing too much trouble. Staff unable to turn heating off and room facing main road so noisy with window open. Impressive tartan covered staircase in foyer.

Tired Victorian hotel in great location
Old style property. The first room I was given had poor amenities, including an absence of drawers and broken in-room safe. Reception was decidedly unhelpful, so I took my dilemma to the GM Mr Bannerjee, who acted swiftly and cheerfully, allocating me a room where everything worked. Hotel has poor wifi. Kept dropping out. Upside, hotel is in a brilliant location, next door to Inverness railway station.
