The Windermere Hotel - London

We loved our visit! The staff was friendly and attentive. I would say our only knock was a few cups had stained coffee on the bottom and the bathroom shower had dirty grout. Needed a good deep clean. However, I know when it’s damp it happens and can be hard to keep that mildew out. We didn’t even complain because we know it can be out of your control! I would still go back though! Great breakfast, great staff, and awesome area to get around the city.

Our room was a shock at this rather high-priced hotel. Tiny, cluttered with old furniture, terrible lighting, very small, and right by the street with street lights that shone in all night and traffic noise. The worst detail was the layout, with the bathroom door opening right beside the head of the bed. Not very hiegenic, and not good for undisturbed sleep. On the positive side, the shower was very good and the breakfast good. But we have stayed at hotels in London in the same price range with much better rooms. The room did not look at all like the room in the photo here. We asked if we could change to a better room but were told that the hotel was full. No one ever got back to us during our three day stay.

Very noisy , you can hear every single detail what they are doing upstairs room . You should not even talk , they can hear you . Very small room and restroom . It is not worth

My husband and I have stayed at the Windermere four times now. We find the owners very accommodating and very nice. The hotel and their restaurant are fantastic.

Another year and another amazing visit to the beautiful hotel the staff are fantastic the food is delicious
