Not quite what we expected
My wife and I booked an executive room which aside from the marble bathroom was a very ordinary and overpriced room by our standards. The sink faucet and the light switch in the bathroom fell off in our hands. It was impossible to have the bathroom door and the closet door open at the same time as the entrance was very narrow. The room was described as having a lake view, but the view was actually the four lane bridge and metro bridge over Gamla Stan, and extremely noisy if one opened the window. We stayed 3 nights and the coffee cups and glasses in the room were not once washed or replaced. Obviously we were quite shocked, surprised, and disappointed in the room and the misleading description.
On the up side - the front desk and hotel and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially want to mention Few at the executive lounge on the top floor. She was extremely nice, friendly, and kept the delicious food trays filled with the tasty treat. She made our stay much warmer.
