This unit had a full kitchen, nice sitting area, huge wrap around lanai, with a full Ocean view. Pool and spa very close and as this was the secondary pool, not crowded at all. We had a great dinner at the Beach restaurant, live music, right on the beach.

The deluxe studio apartment was spacious but a little worn and dated. We did not have an ocean view but the beach was only a two minute walk from our door. The on property restaurant (Castaway Cafe) has excellent food and service. There was a problem with the amenities listed on the booking site. It stated that all of these condos/apartments were equipped with washers and dryers. Not so. None of them are. When I asked management about this they said it was the fault of the IT firm that supplies the information to the various booking sites. They offered me nothing in return. So we had to use the resort’s poorly maintained community laundry where two thirds of the machines were out of order. Overall it is a nice property on the beach that could use a bit of updating. I’d give it no more than 3 stars due to the overall condition and management’s unwillingness to take responsibility for any problems.

Very nice place. Building a bit dated. Lots of little bugs / ants in kitchen around any food and in cupboards, but this was pretty minor and we really enjoyed our stay. Pool and restaurant are awesome. Beach is amazing and lots to do and see around the resort.

Crappy delayed checkin.
Stay was fine. Checkin was terrible. Time of checkin and the resort giving us the key. we walked to our room as we were pressed for a scheduled outing. The room still had ppl cleaning it. Check out is at 11am at the resort. Why did we still have cleaning ppl in the room at 4pm checkin time. That is unacceptable.

Great getaway!💕
We had such an amazing time at the Villas. We left rainy Oahu for a little getaway. Everything was perfect! You can get your own food and cook if you want, or the Castaway has great food. You can also take the free trolley down to other areas . I will definitely come back. We can’t wait! Patty and her fam will hook you up with Cabanas, chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, sunscreen, you name it on the beach.

Aston Maui Villas are located on the south side of the island in the area where the older and less fancy accommodations reside. I liked it for this reason, as it was low-key and quiet. Unlike the Westin and Sheraton next door, there was not the fancy cabana and bar/restaurant facilities, but two simple but totally functional pools and spa, which I used several times. We bought our own drinks and had evening tipples on the large balcony, which suited us perfectly. The grounds were immaculately manicured and lit with tiki torches at night. The villas themselves are only two floors high and screened by frangipani trees and other foliage, making the large balconies private. Our villa was equipped with enough cutlery and crockery for eight people, and there was a dishwasher and stove, a microwave, and a full-size fridge with an ice-maker. There is also a toaster, a blender, and a coffee maker, several saucepans and various bowls, etc. You could comfortably cook your own meals here if you wanted. Unfortunately, the ice-maker in the fridge stopped dispensing ice on day seven of our stay and even though a call to reception assured me maintenance would take a look at it, it was never fixed and I was not kept in the loop as to why. This was annoying. The villa is effectively cooled with an air conditioner and fans in every part of the house, which we used even in winter. The bed was super comfortable. There is a TV but we didn't use it much. Would stay here again.
