Aston Kaanapali Shores

We went at the beginning of maui opening back up in October, so none of the amenities were back but the hotel was beautiful the view was gorgeous. Very clean. Just like the photos.

This property is lovely and well maintained. The staff were friendly and professional.

We enjoyed the resort. We payed the resort fee but were told that would be credited since nothing in the resort was open. Mike in maintenance was great!!! He took care of a minor problem we had! He also gave us great vacation tips! The beach is very small there so we left and went to other beaches most days. But the pools were awesome. I hated that we had to keep asking for towels. That was annoying. But overall it was great. Beautiful property!

Room view was great. Donna at front desk was awesome. She was very welcoming, informative and extremely pleasant. Unit was dated and needs upgrading.

In the middle of corona virus pandemic, we never saw staff cleaning and disinfecting common areas. Resort has beautiful grounds and pool areas. We did see rooms that were updated. Our room was disappointing, it looked dated with sofa from the 80s and an extremely dirty nasty green carpet. Hotel is in great location with grocery stores and restaurants across the street.

We were in the area for a wedding. The place itself was clean enough but because of the Covid precautions we wiped everything down with disinfectant. No housekeeping came to clean or give us change of linen - we had to go and ask. Then on the day we we’re leaving we asked for late checkout bc all the wedding events like the brunch we were attending was cancelled bc of covid. We knew the hotel’s capacity was done at least 30% and the flights to the islands have been cancelled so a late checkout shouldn’t be such a big difficulty. We got a definitive No and was told to hang around the lobby. Are you serious? It would’ve been safer to have customers isolated in their rooms rather than encouraging lounging in the lobby. Overall poor customer service.

Ocean view room is not much of an ocean view. Found a large cockroach in my room. They skipped my room for room service one day.

Decent property, stayed here as was convenient to other friends being at same resort. Spent most days off site so did not take full advantage of resorts amenities but lot's of families with children seem to be having a blast.

The concierge service was excellent. Paying for parking feels like being nickel and diming to me, though.

The entire stay was amazing from check in to check out! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are awesome and very clean. The view from every part of the resort is spectacular! Special shout out to Liz at the front desk, she is the sweetest person ever!
